This week, Obamacare, the Government Shutdown & looming debt "crisis" dominated the news. As I write this there appears to be a deal in the works to restore DC to business as usual - screwing the people to enrich the power crazed political elites. Undoubtedly, both side will claim victory but one thing this little charade has proven is that We The People lose every time.

The current Regime has shown that there is no limit to how low they will go to score points & hurt their political enemies. In his quest to make the partial shutdown of 15% of the government as painful as possible, The One reached new levels of vindictiveness - closing national parks, private businesses, denying death benefits to the families of our fallen soldiers, etc. There's a time-honored Democratic Party saying that "When the going gets tough, the tough threaten defenseless little old people." Anything within their reach can and will be used as a weapon against the people to further their agenda - and is anything out of reach of the DC gangsters these days?

The Obamacare website launch proved to be a $634M, glitch-filled, impossible to navigate, security-hole-ridden, abomination. Any decent web development company could have created a rock-solid, user-friendly, secure site in a few months for one hundredth the cost. But that's what you get when you leave unaccountable bureaucrats with an agenda and an endless supply of other people's money, in charge. And we're going to turn over 1/6th of the economy, our most sensitive personal information and our very lives to these people - God help us! Obamacare: so good, that the unions demanded and got waivers from it. Obamacare: die happy.

And as for that "it's the law of the land" crap? At one time, so was slavery - that doesn't mean you have to accept it. And while we're playing that game, the Second Amendment is the law of the land. So shut up Liberals & stop having tantrums over it!

Lastly, having solved all other problems facing the nation and the world, the Man of the People turns his attention to the root cause of America's ills. BO has decided that the Washington Redskins should change their name. I'm voting for the The Barrycaders. Perhaps he should stick to what he does best - screwing up the country & the world - and leave football alone!
